Waverly Road opened: County Bridge F-181 finished
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Today, July 6, marks the opening of Waverly Road as the construction on Bridge F-181 is finished.
The bridge was built in 1972 at the cost of $47,787.54. After it was approved for removal and replacement, construction started in March 2025 after surveying and design.
Waverly Road was closed from NW 40th St. and NW 27th St. at that date.
After over a year, Waverly is now opened to the public. The removal and replacement cost approximately $1.6 million.
Lancaster County Engineer Pam Dingman marked the reopening at 1 p.m. at Bridge F-181.
