Weather Update: Sunday, December 13

Persistent cloud cover kept today’s temperatures cooler than average with many locations struggling to break out of the 20s. This chilly day will turn into a cold night as mostly clear skies and light northwesterly winds will allow for radiational cooling to plummet temperatures into the low teens!

Pockets of sunshine are possible Monday morning before cloud cover increases and dominates the sky during the afternoon. Regardless, temperatures are forecasted to rise into the low 30s accompanied by an easterly breeze of 5-10mph.  Overnight Monday through Tuesday morning, light snow showers are anticipated in areas along and west of HWY 281 with the potential of producing 1-4 inches of snow.
