One of Lincoln’s dine-in restaurants took major strides to remain open, switching to take out services.

“It’s just hard to make a dine-in restaurant a to-go restaurant overnight,” says Brett Richardson, owner of 9 South Char-grill. “So, it’s been a learning curve. We laid off nine-tenths of our staff but we hope to bring them all back as soon as we get reopened.

9 South Char-grill has curbside and takeout available to the public. The owner says the transition during quarantines has not been easy but he’s taken advantage of the time by painting the place.

“I’d like to thank the community for their continued support over the last 15 years and we hope to make it another 15,” adds Richardson.
