If you have been craving some ice cream a shop in Lincoln just opened back up its doors.
Dairy Joe’s is just outside of Lincoln. On West O St. They are one of the remaining restaurants left on the west side of town.
The ice cream shop prepared for the new guidelines by reopening their drive-thru window, walk-up window, and closing their indoor lobby.
Katheryn Pierce says it’s vital that small businesses survive this pandemic.
“Little businesses like Dairy Joe’s are just critical to not only the farming community but the small towns around here,” says Pierce. “The response we had from the community on Facebook almost demanding that we reopen again so its as much for everybody else as it is for ourselves.”
The restaurant offers lunch options and unique ice cream flavors like lemon, sea salt caramel espresso, strawberry cheesecake, and much more.
