A restaurant that makes alcoholic beverages and American cuisine is choosing to serve curbside only for now.

“It’s been hit or miss lately but it’s been a fun challenge to adjust how we’ve been doing,” says DJ Katt-Roads, assistant general manager of Toast. “Food service it’s completely different than it was three months ago.”

Toast near Fallbrook Boulevard waited a bit longer than some restaurants before opening again. A general manager says he’s glad customers still crave the favorites like mac and cheese, Caesar salads and mason jar cocktails.

“(We) Just wanted to be proactive rather than reactive and opening back up,” adds Katt Roads. “We just kind of are taking it slow one day at a time filling it out before we make any decisions.”

Toast is open for curbside or pickup and you also can pre-order online.
