White House orders IRS to payout refunds

The White House believes tax season should be largely unaffected during the shutdown.

While IRS offices are closed and 90 percent of workers are furloughed, the Trump Administration has reversed a long-standing policy that withholds tax refunds during shutdowns.

So, if this order holds, you should be getting your tax refund.

But officials warn it may take a little longer, with limited staff and resources.
