Whiteout conditions cause crashes along I-80 in southeast Nebraska
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Seward County Sheriff’s Office says multiple crashes were reported along Interstate 80 on Thursday as winter weather pounded Nebraska.
Drivers near the Milford exit were asked to use an alternate route Thursday morning.
The sheriff’s office advised against travel as it got more reports of whiteout conditions throughout the area.
Officials say to stay home if you can. If you do have to travel, slow down and leave extra room between vehicles.
