Wind Advisory in effect today 11/12/2021

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) –  A Wind Advisory is in effect for parts of southeast NE today until 6 PM and a High Wind Warning is in effect for northern NE through this evening. Wind gusts around 40 mph are expected through the early afternoon hours.  Wind gusts will start to calm by the evening hours and into overnight tonight. Expect a bad hair day, secure any lose outdoor items and use extra caution if you drive a high profile vehicle.
