Wind Advisory Issued for Eastern Nebraska

Wind Advisory

A Wind Advisory has been issued for the majority of eastern Nebraska, including Lancaster county, until midnight.

Northwest winds of 25-35 mph and wind gusts of up to 55 mph are expected. These gusty winds have the potential to blow down tree limbs and cause power outages. Drivers are advised to use caution while travelling.

Counties included in this Wind Advisory are as follows:
Antelope, Boone, Burt, Butler, Cass, Cedar, Colfax, Cuming, Dodge, Douglass, Knox, Lancaster, Madison, Otoe, Pierce, Platte, Sarpy, Saunders, Seward, Stanton, Thurston, Washington and Wayne
