Windy & Warm Wednesday 10-14-2020

Temperatures will once again start off in the upper 40s and low 50s across southeast Nebraska this morning. Wind gusts will already be gusting close to 25 mph during your morning commute, so make sure to hold onto the steering wheel! The direction will go from a warm southwest breeze to a northerly breeze quickly once the sun goes up. Temperatures will also be well above average today with highs in the upper 70s and increasing clouds ahead of a cold front. This cold front will likely bring scattered showers overnight into Thursday morning, while also resulting in temperatures to plunge for the rest of the week
