First, consider the location of your decorations. Put them on flat ground for a proper foundation and avoid placing them out in the open. If placed next to a wall or trees, they will provide some shelter against the wind for your decorations.

Second, place sand or gravel bags inside the inflatable. Christmas Central recommends using two or three weights to properly secure your decorations. Don’t overfill the bags, keep in mind the weights need to fit through the access hole of the inflatable. Make sure to lay the bags at the base and distribute them evenly.

Third, grab some twine! Wrap it around the middle of your decoration, then secure the ends of your twine to a nearby railing, fence post, or wooden stake. Make sure not to wrap your inflatable too tightly or it might damage the decoration.

Lastly, another way to keep those decorations secure is with metal chain locks. Feed the chain lock through the light socket opening in the back of your decoration. Connect the chain lock to a metal or plastic stake, then pound the stake into the ground directly behind your decorations.
