Wine & Howl raising funds for Lincoln Animal Ambassadors

Leashed dogs are welcome and there is a suggested donation of $10.00 per person.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The 13th annual Lincoln Animal Ambassadors Wine and Howl event is happening on Sunday, July 25. It’s from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Deer Springs Winery at 162nd and Adams. There will be live music, wine tasting, vendors, raffle prizes, food catered by Hyvee and rescue groups with animals looking for forever homes.

Leashed dogs are welcome and there is a suggested donation of $10.00 per person.

LAA is an all-volunteer group (501 (c) 3) that sponsors a low-cost spay/neuter program and also a Temporary Assistance Pet Food Bank for residents of Lincoln and Lancaster county. Since their inception 15 years ago, there have been over 3300 animals altered and on average, there are approximately 2000 lbs of dry dog and cat food and 850 cans of canned food distributed per month!
