Winter Wonderland 11/10/2020

Most of southeast Nebraska will have to do some scraping this morning thanks to freezing rain currently falling around Lincoln. Temperatures are well below freezing this morning in the 20s and 30s helping any moisture freeze upon contact on low surfaces. But as we progress into the afternoon, the freezing rain will gradually transition to snow. This snow will linger throughout the area until the early afternoon hours before moving northward. Temperatures will hover around the low to mid-30s today with clearing skies as we head into the evening. Overnight will be even colder with lows plunging down to the mid-20s.
