Woman arrested after deputy finds knife in car during traffic stop

YORK, Neb. (KLKN) — Around 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 20, a deputy with York County Sheriff’s Office (YSO) conducted a traffic stop in York for a non-moving violation.

According to YSO, the deputy searched the vehicle and found a 4.5 inch fixed blade knife. The driver, Wendy Nagle of Stromsburg, was identified as a convicted felon and is prohibited from possessing the knife.

Nagle was arrested and lodged for possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person.
