Woman critically injured in Omaha stabbing; police searching for suspect

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Omaha Police are investigating after a woman was critically wounded in a Monday stabbing.

The Omaha Police Department says officers were called to a home near North 18th and Paul Streets around 7:30 a.m.

Officers found a 41-year-old woman who had been attacked. She told police that another woman stabbed her and fled in a Chevy Trailblazer.

The injured woman was taken to the Nebraska Medical Center in critical condition, but she is expected to survive.
