Woman robbed at gunpoint for her driver’s license, police investigate

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A 48-year-old woman was forcibly robbed at gunpoint Wednesday, according to Lincoln Police.

The victim was driving down N 14th Street, near Manatt Drive, when she was overtaken by two vehicles, forcing her to pull over.

Both male suspects exited their vehicles. One approached the victim, pointing a handgun at her, while the other dumped out her purse in the front passenger seat.

They only took her driver’s license before leaving the scene.
