Woman stabbed, punched man in north Lincoln home’s bathroom, court docs allege
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – An intoxicated woman stabbed and punched a man Saturday in the bathroom of a north Lincoln home, court documents allege.
Around 5:50 p.m., a 43-year-old man reported that he had been stabbed by Mimi Kuot, 27, at a home near 27th and Holdrege Streets.
The victim told police that he was in the bathroom when Kuot entered and stabbed him in the shoulder, according to an arrest affidavit filed Monday.
She then punched him several times before leaving the home, the affidavit alleges.
When officers arrived, they found Kuot running in a nearby backyard and took her into custody.
The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he was found to have a single stab wound.
While at the Lancaster County Jail, Kuot took a breath test and had a blood alcohol content of .393, the affidavit alleges.
That’s almost five times the legal limit.
Kuot was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault.
