Zipline Brewing Co. is offering free drinks to members of the restaurant and bar industry who are furloughed because of COVID-19.

The brewery on Monday issued the “Growler Relief Act of 2020,” which points out how the industry has been “devastated” by the pandemic.

The company is declaring each Wednesday in May as “Workforce Wednesday.” The offer specifically is for a free glass growler fill of any Zipline beer on tap.

Patrons must purchase or bring a Zipline glass vessel, the company says, as supply chains are “screwed up” and they need all the glasses they can get.

All beer must be consumed off the premises.
