10-year-old has life-threatening injuries after four kids crash SUV in Lincoln

LINCON, Neb. (KLKN) — Police say a 10-year-old suffered life-threatening injuries in Thursday morning’s crash on Cornhusker Highway.

Four kids were in the SUV that smashed into a light fixture near Northwest Sixth Street, police said.

Two 15-year-olds were in the front seats while the 10-year-old and a 6-year-old were in the back.

All of the other children were also taken to a hospital and treated for minor injuries.

LPD said this investigation is still ongoing.
