SUV smashes into pillar on Lincoln’s Cornhusker Highway, causing serious damage

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A crash is under investigation after an SUV smashed into a Lincoln light fixture on Thursday.

This happened at a median near Northwest Sixth Street and Cornhusker Highway, just after 7 a.m.

Nine units were called to scene after passersby reported seeing children involved in the wreck.

Authorities have not said if anyone was injured or what may have led to this accident.
