12-year-old girl caught after burglary at Lincoln gas station, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A group of thieves broke into a Lincoln gas station Monday and stole several vape products, police say.

Around 3:30 a.m., officers were sent to the Super C near 21st and G Streets after a glass break alarm went off.

When officers arrived, they found that the front door had been shattered with a rock.

In security video, four people were seen entering the store and stealing about $200 worth of vape products, police say.

Later on, officers said they found two of the thieves – a 12-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy – and took them into custody.

Police are still looking for the other two who were involved in the burglary.

The gas station had about $800 in damage.
