UPDATE: Lincoln crews extinguish 2-alarm fire near Cornhusker Highway
Flames were first spotted coming from the roof of a building

10 a.m. — Authorities tell us the fire ignited between a metal deck and some insulation.
Crews were able to cut through the roof and put the flames out with water cans.
Aerial support was brought in but no hose line was ever used.
Right now there is no estimated cost on the damage.
9:30 a.m. — Crews have knocked out the fire and are wrapping up after making quick work of it.
Our reporter on scene, Nathan Greve, says part of the building is occupied by the animal health company Zoetis.
Its operations appear to have been unaffected as this was happening in an area that was being renovated.
We’re told the fire was still small when crews arrived and thanks to their fast attack it never entered the building, only burning part of the roof.
