Body found in central Lincoln; LPD investigating

LPD says the body was found burned in an outdoor stairwell around 10 a.m.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A body was found in a building near 16th and Washington Streets on Wednesday, according to Lincoln Police.

LPD says the body found at around 10 a.m. had significant burns.

It’s early in the investigation and a name has not been released.

Police had the area roped off with yellow tape for hours.
