Maurice Washington currently not with the Nebraska football team

Maurice Washington is not apart of the Husker football team. 

The sophomore running back is “not a part of our immediate future,” according to head coach Scott Frost. He is still on Nebraska’s roster and is not suspended. 

Frost saying they will wait and see about the distant future with Washington.

Washington has been suspended for the first half of two games this season (South Alabama and Northwestern). He faces child porn and revenge porn charges in California stemming from a video he allegedly sent an ex-girlfriend showing what she claimed to be a sexual assault. Washington did not take the video or participate in the alleged assault. 

Washington has rushed for 319 yards and a touchdown this season, while also compiling 12 catches for two touchdowns.
