Missouri River bridge at Nebraska City to fully reopen Monday

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Missouri River bridge at Nebraska City is scheduled to reopen to normal traffic on Monday, weather permitting.
According to the Nebraska Department of Transportation, four-lane, two-way traffic is set to return to normal.
Work began during the 2021 construction season to repair the joints and deck on the exterior. During that time, rehabilitation work on the interior began.
Most construction on the bridge will be complete Friday.
Minor repairs including remarking lane stripes and posting signs are scheduled to be complete on Monday.
The department reminds motorists to drive cautiously in and near work zones, buckle up and put phones down.
