Two dogs die in shed fire near Eagle

The fire happened about 4 miles southwest of Eagle. 

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two dogs died in a shed fire east of Lincoln on Friday.

The fire happened near Van Dorn and South 190th Streets, 4 miles southwest of Eagle.

Firefighters from Bennett, Eagle-Alvo and Southeast Rural Fire all arrived to put out the fire.

The shed was destroyed, and two dogs died, according to firefighters at the scene.

There is no word yet on the cause of the fire.  No injuries were reported.
