Nebraska football’s Betts currently not with Huskers

Scott Frost announced on Thursday that wide receiver Zavier Betts is not a member of the Husker football team.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Scott Frost announced in a press conference Thursday morning that wide receiver Zavier Betts is currently not a member of the Nebraska football team.

“Zavier’s not a member of the team right now,” Frost said.

The Bellevue West alum appeared in every game for the Huskers last season catching 20 passes for 286 yards.

Frost also would not comment on the status of tight end Thomas Fidone who suffered a knee injury last year sidelining him for the 2021 season.
