Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office raises $5,700 for local non-profits
The funds were raised during the annual No Shave November fundraiser.
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office has raised $5,700 from its No Shave November fundraiser.
Sheriff Jeff Davis will be presenting the checks to local non-profits on Friday.
The annual campaign gives employees the option to donate money to the No Shave November fundraiser instead of shaving their facial hair.
Non-sworn employees who donate to the campaign get the opportunity to wear jeans during November and December.
Those who participate in the fundraiser then get to select charities or non-profits in the community to give the donations to.
The following non-profit organizations will receive a portion of the donation:
- Angles Among Us
- Autism Action Partnership
- Lift-Up Sarpy
- Moving Veterans Forward
- Patriotic Productions
- Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office Foundation
- Scatter Joy Acres
