Lincoln road closure: Portion of Normal Boulevard to shut down Saturday

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Normal Boulevard between 62nd and Van Dorn Streets will close from 7 to 11 a.m. on Saturday for utility repairs.

While the road is closed, Lincoln Electric System will be replacing a damaged streetlight.

Digital signs in the area will alert drivers to upcoming work and closures.

Travelers are encouraged to seek an alternate route and exercise caution around the work zone.

Project dates are subject to change due to weather and unplanned circumstances, said the Lincoln Transportation and Utilities Department.
