LAS VEGAS, Nev. (KLKN) – Former Husker wide receiver Samori Toure was drafted 258th overall in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers.

After transferring to Nebraska from Montana, Toure led the Huskers in receiving yards with 898, good for seventh in the Big Ten.

Toure is the third Husker selected in this year’s draft, following Cam Jurgens (Philadelphia Eagles) and Cam Taylor-Britt (Cincinnati Bengals), who were both picked in the second round.

He becomes the first Husker wide receiver to be drafted to the NFL since Kenny Bell was taken 162nd (5th round) in 2015.
