UPDATE: Missing 82-year-old man with dementia has been found safe

NSP began searching for Marvin Bures after he disappeared Tuesday in Odell

UPDATE 8:20 a.m. — NSP just sent an update saying Mr. Bures has been found and is safe.

It also thanked everyone who helped spread the word and look for him.

ODELL, Neb. (KLKN) — The Nebraska State Patrol has issued an “endangered missing advisory” for an 82-year-old man last seen near Odell.

NSP says Marvin Bures was last seen Tuesday afternoon around 4:30 p.m. near 43993 SW 75th Rd. in Odell. Authorities say he has dementia and a heart condition, but he does not have his medication with him.

NSP says Bures is around 5’10”, 160 lbs. with gray hair. He was last seen driving a silver 2004 Ford F250 with Nebraska license plates “3-702R,” wearing blue jeans, a red t-shirt and possibly green sweatshirt.
