Sunshine returns along with warmer temperatures
After a cool start to the day – temperatures in the 40°s – temperatures should move back to near normal levels this afternoon. Skies will be mainly sunny through the morning and early afternoon. Clouds will begin to drift in from the northwest late afternoon and in to the early evening. Temperatures will top out in the upper 70°s to near 80°.
A couple high resolution computer models are trying to spit out a few sprinkles as the clouds arrive. I am not completely buying this solution, but if a stray rain drop falls, don’t be caught off guard.
Partly cloudy skies for Thursday night. This will keep temperatures from dropping too much. Lows will be in the middle 50°s.
A pattern change will happen as we move in to the weekend. A daily chance for rain will be possible Saturday through Wednesday next week. Temperatures will also be held below normal as there will be higher cloud cover and winds will be predominantly out of the east/northeast.
