Big increase in insurance claims in Nebraska after Tuesday storms
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – After the storm brought hail, wind and rain to the area on Tuesday night, many have had to call their insurance company to file a claim.
An area insurance agent said his company has seen a more than 100% increase in claims since the storm.
The highest increases are in Utica, Waverly and Seward.
The company has mostly seen claims for hail damage to cars, but there have been a good number of claims made for damage to homes.
