Dirt will be flung into the air in the high flying Monster Jam event this weekend at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
Behind the wheel of the Monster Energy truck sits 29–year–old Coty Saucier.
Saucier said, “I always wanted to be part of Monster Jam since I was knee high I was always a fan of the Grave Digger trucks.”
The 2nd year Monster Jam driver is making a name for himself after winning a world finals trophy for up and coming drivers.
Saucier is known for his aggressive driving style, something that can cause his stunts to go wrong.
Saucier said, “Yeah 95% of the time it’s all wrong but that’s what makes it exciting.”
Drivers like Saucier have to adapt to different size tracks and different size jumps at each venue they go to.
For eager fans young and old, Saucier says he may try to pull out one of his favorite tricks.
Saucier said, “I can get a stopee going where I’ll purposely case the truck and get it to come up on the nose and get it to stick there on the nose with the brakes, but you never know i’d like to do it here but you just got to wing it and hope for the best. I can’t always predict it but I’ll at least try it.”
