Newsome, Nelson and Vokolek to represent Nebraska at Big Ten Media Days

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Three Huskers will be joining coach Scott Frost at the upcoming Big Ten Media Days in Indianapolis.

Defensive back Quinton Newsome, edge rusher Garrett Nelson and tight end Travis Vokolek will be making the trip.

Big Ten Media Days will be held at Lucas Oil Stadium next week and will feature coaches and players from the conference’s teams.

The Huskers are scheduled to speak on Tuesday.

The event comes at a time of great upheaval for college sports.

At the end of June, UCLA and USC announced that they would be leaving the Pac-12 and joining the Big Ten in 2024.
