Local club gives free eye checks to kids at Lincoln Children’s Museum
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – With the new school year around the corner, a big part of learning is making sure your child can see.
The Star City Lions Club, Ameritas and the Lincoln Children’s Museum partnered on Friday to give kids free eye checks.
The eye checks were a quick and easy process for kids already playing at the children’s museum.
The service was free and provided parents a print-out letting them know if there were any abnormalities in the children’s sight.
“We try to check vision before it’s a problem,” said Bob Swan, a member of the Star City Lion Club.
The Lincoln Star City Lions Club focuses on humanitarian assistance locally and globally.
