Another gorgeous day on Sunday
The upper-level disturbance that influenced our weather pattern in recent days has finally pushed east. Nebraska is now on the back side of this system, which has allowed a very comfortable pattern to take effect.
Any fair weather cumulus clouds that develop on Saturday afternoon will fizzle out during the evening hours. This will set us up for an overnight stretch with clear skies.
It will be a cool night, with low temperatures on Sunday morning in the middle and upper-50s. We also cannot rule out some patchy fog, especially in low-lying areas.
Sunday will be another gorgeous day. Skies will be mainly sunny, and temperatures may be a tad warmer. We’re forecasting high temperatures of 85° in Lincoln.
Although temperatures do climb next week, we will be stuck in a drier pattern for the time being. As of now, we appear to be dry through most of next week. However, there is a decent signal in the long-range computer model guidance that hints at storm chances next weekend.
We’ll fine-tune those details as we get closer to the weekend. But for now, just know that the overall odds of seeing much rain are fairly low between now and next weekend.
