North Star hangs on to beat Lincoln High
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln North Star Navigators eked out a 9-7 win over the Lincoln High Links on Friday.
The Links got the scoring going early with a rushing touchdown by Adonis Hutchinson, giving them an early 7-0 lead.
North Star was able to find a passing touchdown at the start of the third quarter, but the Navigators missed the field goal.
With under three minutes left in the game, kicker Nick Rorabaugh connected on a 25-yard field goal to secure the win.
The Navigators will take on Norfolk at home next week.
The Links are on the road at Lincoln East.
