Kickoff time announced for Nebraska’s home game against Illinois
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska will return to Memorial Stadium with an afternoon game against No. 18 Illinois on Oct. 29.
The kickoff time has been set for 2:30 p.m., and the game will be broadcast on ABC or ESPN.

Nebraska is coming off a 43-37 loss against Purdue on Saturday, but the team will have a bye week to reset before facing Illinois.

The Fighting Illini have had a strong season, with wins over Big Ten opponents Iowa, Wisconsin and Minnesota.
Illinois’ only loss came from Indiana, which the Huskers defeated 35-21 on Oct. 1.
Purdue and Illinois are currently tied for first in the Big Ten West Division. Nebraska sits in second with a 2-2 conference record.
