Malcolm Clippers win big against Archbishop Bergan
MALCOLM, Neb. (KLKN) – It was hammer time for the Malcolm Clippers on Friday, and they defeated the Fighting Knights of Archbishop Bergan 64-17.
The Fighting Knights scored first, but Malcolm wasted no time retaliating in Week 1 of the playoffs.
Down 3-0, Malcolm quarterback Hayden Frank took it for himself, blasting through the Fighting Knights’ traffic to get all the way into the end zone for six.
Later, Frank launched a rocket downfield right into the hands of Logan McGreer for another Clippers touchdown, putting them up 13-3.
In the second quarter, Frank again took it all the way to the house to put the Clippers on top 35-10 going into halftime.
Malcolm stays perfect on the season, winning the game big 64-17.
They will face Cedar Catholic next Friday in round 2 of Class C2 football.
