Recall Alert: basketball hoops, AC power adapters and desk chairs
The company says the recalled basketball hoop can detach from the wall and fall to the ground.
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- Goalsetter is recalling over 18,000 of its wall-mounted basketball hoops. The company says the basketball hoop can detach from the wall and fall to the ground, posing a serious impact injury hazard and risk of death. Officials have reported one fatality.
If you have the recalled product, contact Goalsetter for free removal of the basketball hoop with a full refund or a free inspection of the wall-mounted basketball hoop; and free installation of an additional safety bracket.
Brother is recalling over 16,000 of its power adapters sold with AirSure DF-2 Dynamic Filtration Tabletop Air Purifiers. The Meic AC power adapter casing can break while the adapter is being plugged into or removed from an electrical outlet, exposing its metal prongs. The company says this poses electrical shock and electrocution hazards.

Amazon is recalling over 11,000 of its Amazon Basics desk chairs. The chairs’ leg base can break and the company says this poses fall and injury hazards.
If you have the recalled product, contact Amazon for instructions on how to get rid of the chairs for a full refund. You will also be asked to upload a photo of the chair’s leg base and verify that you got rid of the chair.
