Lincoln businesses honor military members with deals on Veterans Day
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Businesses across Lincoln are celebrating Veterans Day with deals for former and active military members.
Here is a list of what local businesses will be offering to veterans on Friday:
- ComfortMade Mattress – Complimentary Quest Pillow with Cooling Technology
- Scooter’s Coffee – Any size free drink
- Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium – Free admission for military members and their families
- Hy-Vee – Free buffet-style breakfast starting at 6 a.m. and a 15% discount on grocery purchases all day
- McDonald’s – Free breakfast combo
- Casey’s – Free coffee
- Russell Speeder’s Car Wash – Free car washes at all locations
- Craft Axe Throwing Lincoln – Throw free
On Friday, the 24th annual Veterans Walk of Recognition will start at 9:30 a.m. at Memorial Stadium. The walk will finish at Antelope Park, where a ceremony will be held.
