Nebraska’s Courtney Wallace named Big Ten Pitcher of the Week

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska softball’s Courtney Wallace had a dominant weekend at the Houston Invitational.
In three games, the Omaha native pitched 19 innings and had 14 strikeouts with an ERA of 0. Nebraska won all three games.
For her stellar performance, Courtney was named Big Ten Pitcher of the Week.

Nebraska beat Houston, Virginia and Lamar (twice) during the Houston Invitational.
South Dakota State was the only team that bested the Huskers over the weekend.
Nebraska will now head to the TaxAct Clearwater Invitational, where it will face No. 3 Oklahoma State on Thursday.
