Driver ticketed after crashing into pole in south Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A driver was cited Friday night after crashing a car into a pole in south Lincoln.

Lincoln Police said Monday that the crash happened around 10:30 p.m. near the intersection of 20th Street and Pine Lake Road.

Two of the four people in the vehicle were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Police think speed was a factor in the crash.

The driver was cited on suspicion of reckless driving.
