Police identify men found dead at south Lincoln home

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police have identified the two men who were found dead at a south Lincoln home last week.

Lincoln Police identified the men as Marcelo Morales Olvera, 30, and Andres Merced Morales, 31.

Around noon Friday, first responders were sent to a home near Seventh Street and Old Cheney Road after a 35-year-old man found two of his roommates unresponsive in the garage.

When officers arrived, they found Olvera and Morales dead in the garage.  The cause of death is still unknown.

Four residents of the home were taken to a hospital for “suspected carbon monoxide poisoning,” police said Friday.

An investigation is ongoing.
