Crews extinguish fire in basement at Lincoln duplex

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Several residents of a Lincoln duplex will be relocated after a fire started in the basement Monday.
Around 2 p.m., crews were sent to a duplex near 18th and A Streets on the report of a fire.
Lincoln Fire & Rescue spokeswoman Nancy Crist said crews were able to contain the fire to the basement.
No one was injured, but six residents will be displaced due to the damage.
The cause is still unknown, and an investigation is ongoing.
