Part of 48th Street to close for Lincoln road improvement project
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – City officials announced Thursday that a part of 48th Street will be closed for the Lincoln on the Move street improvement project.
The road will be closed from Superior Street to Cornhusker Highway from Monday until at least June 1.

Access to businesses in the area will be maintained. But StarTran Routes 41-Havelock and 48-North 48th will be detoured during the roadwork.
Officials recommend that drivers take Superior to Cornhusker as a detour.
The Lincoln on the Move project is investing millions of dollars into street projects across Lincoln, according to a press release.
