UPDATE: Escapee found and in police custody

UPDATE: Lincoln Police Department says the escapee, Pavel Kislyak, has been found and is in police custody.

The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office located him near south 1st Street and Old Cheney, right before 10 p.m. Monday evening. 

He was taken into custody without incident.

LPD wants to thank the public for sharing posts on social media and calling in tips.

The Lincoln Police Department and Nebraska State Patrol are searching for an escaped inmate from the Regional Center.

They believe he’s in Lincoln, between Highway 77 and southwest 1st/Pioneers Boulevard – Old Cheney.

K9s and the State Patrol helicopter are assisting with the search.

Officers are looking for 44-year-old Pavel M. Kislyak. He is 5’9″ tall and 210 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt and blue pants.
