Tommie Frazier among Huskers selected for Nebraska Athletic Hall of Fame’s 2023 class

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Five former Husker athletes and a head coach will be honored in the University of Nebraska Athletics Hall of Fame this year.

Nebraska Athletics announced the 2023 hall of fame class on Wednesday.

Lori Endicott, Tommie Frazier, Emily Parsons, Tolly Thompson, Brittany Timko and retired track and field coach Gary Pepin make up this year’s class.

Nebraska Athletics said the five student-athletes accounted for two team national championships and an individual national title.

“The five student-athletes had a tremendous impact on the University of Nebraska and deserve to be recognized for their contributions as Cornhuskers,” Athletic Director Trev Alberts said in a press release.

The class will be enshrined on a granite plaque at the University of Nebraska Athletics Hall of Fame Plaza.

  • Lori Endicott, volleyball (1985-88)
  • Tommie Frazier, football (1992-95)
  • Emily Parsons, women’s gymnastics (2005-08)
  • Tolly Thompson, wrestling (1993-97)
  • Brittany Timko, soccer (2003-06)
  • Gary Pepin, track and field head coach (1981-2022)

Last year’s hall of fame class included Guy Chamberlin, Shane Komine, Louise Pound and Ali Viola.
