15th annual ‘Wine and Howl’ happening Sunday

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- The 15th annual Wine and Howl event is happening Sunday, June 11 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Deer Springs Winery.

The 80’s band “AM/FM” will be there, along with wine tasting. Raffle prizes include passes to the Lincoln Children’s Zoo, Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo, Tomahawk Axe throwing, Omaha Storm Chasers baseball game, Vala’s Pumpkin Patch and more.

There will be free Pupcakes and ‘people cupcakes’ to the first 200 people attending the event. A donation of $10 is encouraged. The money is going toward Lincoln Animal Ambassadors, a nonprofit group that sponsors a low-cost neuter/spay program and a Temporary Assistance Pet Food Bank for residents of Lincoln and Lancaster County.
